I LOVE my life!  A couple of days ago I finished a painting that just makes me smile whenever I look at it.  It’s really a fun thing to feel.  And it’s the same feeling I get when one of my friends says “yes” to starting a life with a daily dose of Protandim.

Why does that mean so much?  Because oxidative stress, even though we can’t see or directly feel it (like high cholesterol), can be deadly.  And I love, love, love my friends and want them to be around for a very long time.  I want them living without pain, without inflammation and high blood pressure.  I want them healthy and happy.

Fortunately these lovely folks allow for the possibility of a long and high quality life, so they jumped right in and started taking Protandim with enthusiasm.  What many of us have noticed is that we are able to sleep better, and concentrate.  Our brain is working more efficiently and we feel calmer.  For me, I’m able to be fully present in the moment without the stress of looking back or forward and trying to force something to happen.  That frantic feeling has disappeared.

One of my favorite gurus and a delightful author is Adyashanti who wrote “Emptiness Dancing.”  He says that the simple secret to being happy is to let go of your demand on the moment, otherwise you completely miss what is now.  And I say, let go of your demand to keep your past alive and just hang out in this very moment.  It’s a lot easier to do when your oxidative stress has been reduced to that of a newborn!!!

Dr. McCord & Me at VIP Q&A session

This weekend at the LifeVantage Inaugural Convention in SLC, I met some very ordinary people who are doing extraordinary things through what I call “right work.”  Right work is providing goods or services that enhance the quality of a community and the quality of life of its citizens.

LifeVantage, as a company, provides just that to its employees, distributors and customers.  I have found a community of people who have integrity, are healthy, happy and giving back.  Although I’m sure Protandim, LifeVantage’s NRF-2 activator product that reduces oxidative stress, is improving the health of its distributors, I also suspect that people with integrity gravitate naturally to LifeVantage.

Have you ever been sitting in a convention ballroom at 5 in the evening and still see every seat filled, and people enthusiastically taking notes?  Well, it happened here at every single session.  These folks were alert, as was I – and not tired!

Those of you who know me, know that I like to hang out with energetic, dynamic and healthy people.  Sometimes that means spending time with people younger than me.

I had wanted to meet this one very dynamic and successful guy who drives to every training event.  Since training events are a long way from me, I wanted to hear how that was going for him. Finally, I caught up with Mr. Bright Eyes and Great Smile, and thought, wow, he’s older than me, like maybe early 70′s.  We talked for awhile and as we were leaving, his wife, or maybe it was his daughter, said “pretty great for a guy who’s 95, isn’t it?”  I am so humbled in the presence of people like him.

Every time I turned around, I was learning more about how distributors were enriching their lives through the generous compensation plan.
